Summer Fun!! Register for Wild Swan Theater Summer Camps ‘08
I. Science and Drama: We Dig It!
Monday June 23 – Friday June 27 9:30am-3:30pm at the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum. Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum & Wild Swan Theater team up
to explore ancient civilizations. Create a play, engage in archeological
explorations and enter the world of past cultures. For students entering
grades 3-5.
Cost: $300.00 includes all science materials fees
Limit: 16 participants
II. Happy Birthday Party:
Monday June 30 – Thursday July 3 10:00am – 1:00pm at the Wild Swan Studio.Celebrate America’s Birthday through drama and stories. Great Americana and Patriotic tales and creative play will make for a festive week. For students entering grades 1-3
Cost: $120.00
Limit: 16 participants
III. Theater Potpourri for Middle School Students:
Monday July 7 – Friday July 11 9:30am-3:30pm at the Wild Swan Studio
We will explore acting techniques, improvisation, monologue and scene
work. We’ll develop voice and movement skills, and explore stagecraft in a
lively multi-faceted week! We’ll conclude on Friday with a showcase
performance of the week’s work. Special guests appear throughout the
week. For students entering grades 6-8.
Cost: $250.00
Limit: 12
IV. Magical Myths and Fabulous Fables:
Monday July 21 – Friday July 25 at the Wild Swan Studio
AM Session: 9:30am-12noon for students entering grades 1-3
PM Session: 1:00pm -3:30pm for students entering grades 3-5
Play lots of theater games, create characters, and transform your world and let your imagination soar! We’ll read and act out myths and fables, make costume and props pieces and work together to create great drama. Each session culminates with a short performance.
Cost: $150.00
Limit: 16
Session I will be held at the Hands On Museum.
Sessions II, III, IV will be held in our new studio!
