| Drum Me a Story is a delightful, humorous collection of well-known African tales including “Anansi and the Moss Covered Rock” and “How the Turtle Got Its Shell,” performed through storytelling, acting and drumming. As part of the performance, Ryan Edwards, who has studied drumming in Africa for years, demonstrates his many drums and teaches the audience about them. Drum Me a Story makes a great Black History Month assembly. This show can be adapted for preschoolers as well. |

The audience participation in this production is quite special as the children in the audience create a surprise for Owl. |
