Arts & Humanities Touring Program Grants

The Arts & Humanities Touring Program awards grants to help support the fees and expenses of touring performers, artists, exhibitors, and humanities presenters listed in Michigan’s 2012-2015 Arts & Humanities Touring Directory– this includes Wild Swan Theater.

The Touring Program grants are available to nonprofit organizations who may request up to 40 percent of the presenters’ fees and travel expenses.

Eligibility

Any Michigan nonprofit organization, institution, school, library, museum, chamber, association or local government agency may apply. Individuals are not eligible for grants. The applicant must be the sponsoring organization.

Arts & Culture Trek Grants

The Arts & Culture Trek grant cycle is open now through November 15, 2014. Since 2012, Michigan Youth Arts, on behalf of the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs, has offered Michigan K-12 schools grants of up to $500 to pay for transportation costs associated with an arts or culture-related field trip.– this includes Wild Swan Theater.

The Touring Program grants are available to nonprofit organizations who may request up to 40 percent of the presenters’ fees and travel expenses.

Eligibility

Applications must be submitted online at www.michiganyoutharts.org/grants no later than 11:59 p.m. on Saturday, November 15, 2014.

Field trip must take place between January 1, 2015 and May 31, 2015.

Applicants must be accredited Michigan public or private schools, grades K-12.
